On 25th February the Fron Male Voice Choir and brother’s Richard and Adam join forces to celebrate St David’s concert.

The Fron (pronounced Vron in English) as they are affectionately known is one of the finest Male Voice Choirs in the UK. This Welsh choir with their captivating sound brings over fifty male voices together to make extraordinary music. They have been entertaining audiences for the past 70 years with their balance of classical, sacred, and modern music including choral arrangements of pop classics.

The choir has a massive fanbase, with numerous national TV appearances including such favourites as The Parkinson Show, Paul O’Grady Show and the Alan Titchmarsh Show. They have a proven success record on the competition stage as well as being first class entertainers.

They have undertaken UK tours taking in concerts as far afield as Glasgow, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Cardiff and Ipswich with concerts at such prestigious venues as The Bridgwater Hall Manchester, Symphony Hall Birmingham, Royal Concert Hall Glasgow, London Festival Hall, St George’s Hall Bradford, and the Tower of London.

Their Voices of the Valley series of CD releases have been awarded numerous gold and platinum disks and are sold in over 80 countries, their tracks now appear on over 90 compilation CDs worldwide.

On the road the Fron Male Voice Choir has built a reputation as an unforgettable live choir.

These opera singing brothers wowed judges and reached the finals of Britain’s Got Talent 2013.

Tenor Richard and baritone Adam perfected their skills watching Pavarotti master classes online. Their hard work and dedication paid off, they signed a multi-album deal with Sony Music. Their debut album The Impossible Dream has classical crossover appeal, for music lovers both young and old.

Côr Meibion y Fron

 Mae’r Fron fel y gelwir gan ei ffrindiau yn un o’r Corau Meibion gorau ym Mhrydain. Mae’r côr yma o Gymru gyda sain hudolus yn dod a dros hanner cant o leisiau gwrywaidd at ei gilydd i greu cerddoriaeth anhygoel. Maent wedi bod yn difyr cynulleidfaoedd am y 70 mlynedd diwethaf gyda eu cydbwysedd o gerddoriaeth glasurol, sanctaidd, a modern gan gynnwys trefniadau corawl o glasuron pop.

Maen’t wedi cael nifer o ymddangosiadau ar teledu cenedlaethol gan gynnwys ffefrynnau fel “The Parkinson Show”, Sioe Paul O’Grady a Sioe Alan Titmarsh. Ac mae hwn wedi rhoi sylfaen enfawr o gefnogwyr iddynt. Mae ganddynt record profedig o lwyddiant ar lwyfan y gystadleuaeth yn ogystal â bod diddanwyr o’r radd flaenaf.

Maent wedi ymgymryd teithiau ar draws Prydain yn cymryd mewn cyngherddau mor bell â Glasgow, Manceinion, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Caerdydd ac Ipswich gyda chyngerddi mewn lleoliadau mawreddog fel Neuadd Bridgwater Manceinion, “Symphony Hall” Birmingham, Neuadd Gyngerdd Frenhinol Glasgow, “Festival Hall” yn Llundain, ac yn Tŵr Llundain.

Mae eu “Voices of the Valley” gyfres o ddatganiadau CD wedi heuddu nifer o ddisgiau aur a phlatinwm ac yn cael eu gwerthu mewn dros 80 o wledydd, Mae eu traciau yn awr yn ymddangos ar  casgliad o dros 90 CD ledled y byd.

Ar y ffordd mae Côr Meibion y Fron wedi adeiladu enw da fel côr byw bythgofiadwy.

 

Richard ac Adam

Fe wnaeth y brodyr canu opera yma wneud argraff mawr ar y beirniaid ar y ffordd i rownd derfynol “Britain’s Got Talent” yn 2013.

Fe wnaeth Tenor Richard, a bariton Adam berffeithio eu sgiliau trwy gwylio dosbarthiadau y meistr Pavarotti ar-lein. Fe wnaeth eu gwaith caled a’u hymroddiad talu ar ei ganfed, pan arwyddwyd cytundeb aml-albwm gyda Cherddoriaeth Sony. Mae eu halbwm cyntaf “The Impossible Dream” apêl i bobl hen ac ifanc sy’n mwynhau cerddoriaeth croesi clasurol.
