The ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’ singers are gearing up for an exciting year celebrating the 20 year anniversary since the release of their debut album ‘Onka’s Big Moka’.
To celebrate the landmark birthday, Toploader will be performing a special anniversary LIVE set at the Rhyl Pavilion Theatre on Saturday 30th May 2020.
With over 82.2 million streams on Spotify in 2019, the album featured a string of top 20 singles including global hit ‘Dancing in the Moon- Light’, which spent over a year in European airplay charts, and the critically acclaimed fans favourite ‘Achilles Heel’. The total streams for the album now exceeds 200 million making them one of the UK’s most listened to bands.
The set at Rhyl Pavilion will include all the singles from the ‘Onka’s Big Moka’, which sold over two million copies and remained in the top 5 of the UK album chart for over six months earning them 4 Brit Award nominations, plus some of the bands favourite tracks and a few classic covers.
Singer Joe Washbourn is excited to be coming to Rhyl for this special anniversary show. He said: “We wanted to create a live set that has people on their feet dancing from start to the finish. We can’t wait to get out and play these songs this coming sum- mer!”
