Internationally renowned Historian, Professor Roland Rotherham and Master Chef Simon Smith invite you on a culinary journey through the annals of history.


These fascinating cookery demonstrations are told with humour and wit and give you an amazing insight into the food our ancestors enjoyed.


From 18th century figs in Brandy and Apple and Cheese Pie with Cherry Brandy sauce, to Edwardian appetisers of Smoked Salmon with Horse-Radish dressing.


Travel to Ancient Egypt and witness the Pharaohs’ banquets and delight in the decadent splendour of the Victorian tea table!


Master Chef Simon Smith cooks up the fayre while the Professor explains the history of each dish in his unique, flamboyant style.
