Celebrate the 10^th Anniversary of The Aloud Charity

2022 sees the 10^th Anniversary of The Aloud Charity, the organisation behind Only Boys Aloud, and Two Gala Concerts have been announced to celebrate this huge milestone.

The concerts will take place at St David’s Hall, Cardiff on Sun 3^rd July 2022 and in Rhyl Pavilion on Sun 17^th July 2022, both at 5pm.  Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster.co.uk and at each venue’s box office. Tickets previously purchased for the original concerts will be honoured for the rescheduled dates. For any further ticket inquiries, please contact your point of purchase.

In March 2010, Only Boys Aloud was launched as a new initiative to get boys singing in Wales, breathing new life into the Welsh Male Choir tradition and inspiring teenage boys to find confidence, community, joy, and friendship through song. No audition, no fee and inclusivity was, and still is central to the scheme.

With 15 choirs working in some of the most deprived areas in Wales, word of this phenomenon has spread throughout the globe. The boys’ Britain’s Got Talent audition clip has had well over 30 million views on YouTube and they have messages posted almost daily on their website and social media from around the world.

OBA has gone from strength to strength, gaining a momentous 3rd place in ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent in 2012, performing at Buckingham Palace in 2013 to celebrate the 60^th anniversary of the coronation, launching a brand-new Royal Caribbean Cruise Liner, signing an album deal with Sony and much more.

Formed in 2012, The Aloud Charity has now engaged with well over 1,000 boys through Only Boys Aloud choirs in North, South and West Wales, plus they’ve also created Only Kids Aloud, the Only Boys Aloud Academi and Merched Aloud Girls. For these extra special concerts, they will be bringing all their groups together for the very first time. Some of the original boys and kids will also be in attendance to perform alongside the Aloud choirs.

With young singers from every corner of Wales, join us as we celebrate over a decade of music and memories with these two special gala concerts in Cardiff and Rhyl.
